Dissolved air flotation system (DAF system) is a proven and effective physical/chemical technology for sewage treatment of industrial and municipal. DAF systems are commonly used for the removal of oils & greases and suspended solids to meet a variety of treatment goals including:
* Product recovery and reuse
* Pretreatment to meet sewer discharge limits
* Pretreatment to reduce loading on downstream biological treatment systems
* Thickening of bio solids
One of the most common DAF dissolved air flotation system applications is for the pretreatment of wastewater to remove suspended solids and oils and greases prior to discharge to a municipal sewer or a biological treatment system.

Application
It is widely used in sewage treatment of petroleum, chemical industry, printing and dyeing, paper making, oil refining, leather, iron and steel, machining process, food, starch and so on.
1. Separate the tiny suspended matter, algae and other microaggregates from surface water.
2. Recovery the useful substances from industrial waste water, such as paper pulp from the waste water.
3. Replace the separation of secondary sedimentation tank and concentration of sludge in the water.
